Really, check it out, so far it has been totally worth the $70 price tag. As far as Koffice goes, keep in mind that it's still pre-beta. (kword version = pre-beta1) But, it looks functional. I just toyed with it for a moment. Right now ApplixWare 5.0 seems to be the best choice. Koffice is next in line. Star/Open/Gnome Office is getting there, but they'll be the last to throw their weight around in this arena. I know that we recommend agnist StarOffice on the LTSP ( http://www.lstp.org ) due to it's large memory footprint. Really, check out ApplixWare 5.0 (I picked up my copy at CompUSA for around $70). It uses GTK so it will look great with GNOME, and looks OK with KDE2. -- \\\|/// \\ - - // ( @ @ ) ----oOOo--(_)-oOOo-------------------------------------------- Andy Zbikowski, Sys Admin | (WEB) http://www.ltiflex.com LTI Flexible Products, Inc. | (PH) 763-428-9119 (EX) 132 21801 Industrial Blvd | (FX) 763-428-9126 Rogers, MN 55374 | (PCS) 612-306-6055 ---------------Ooooo------------------------------------------ ( ) ooooO ) / ( ) (_/ \ ( \_) -------------- next part -------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: tclug-list-unsubscribe at mn-linux.org For additional commands, e-mail: tclug-list-help at mn-linux.org
