For some reason, when I posted that last message, I was having a really low opinion of the people that I was supposed to be supporting. This was a totally unjustified position, as I don't think I've even met more than 3 of the people I'm supposed to be helping. This all means that I probably won't be using an installer, unless (like I said in my previous post) I have to install X Windows software along with it, etc.. Of course, this doesn't mean that a Free installer for Windows software is a bad idea. It would be great to see good installation software on that platform -- especially something that does't dumbly try to install DirectX 4, IE 3, etc. ;-) -- _ _ _ _ _ ___ _ _ _ ___ _ _ __ A living example of / \/ \(_)| ' // ._\ / - \(_)/ ./| ' /(__ Artificial Intelligence. \_||_/|_||_|_\\___/ \_-_/|_|\__\|_|_\ __) [ Mike Hicks | http://umn.edu/~hick0088/ | mailto:hick0088 at tc.umn.edu ] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: tclug-list-unsubscribe at mn-linux.org For additional commands, e-mail: tclug-list-help at mn-linux.org
