Well, you can always do `sh runInstaller' ;-) For some reason, I suspect that a `noexec' flag is getting set when you mount the filesystem. If you have `user' as one of the extra options in /etc/fstab, that would probably do it. You can probably get around it by adding on an `exec' (as opposed to `noexec') to the list of options.
