I got a Kodak digital camera last Christmas.  Sadly, it's one of the few
Kodaks that gphoto doesn't support.  However, it stores images on a
compact flash card.  I've got a USB flash card reader that works fine
under linux, which sort of solves the problem.

Also, in regards to the PCMCIA card, you can get a PCMCIA card that will
hold a compact flash card.  Makes it real convienent for notebook
transfers (looks like an EIDE drive to the system IIRC).
