Yes, please listen to Mike. (for once) Let's rid the world of telnet and r-services. There really isn't a need for them anymore. If you don't believe me, just start running dsniff for a while. You'll see what I mean.

dpkg -r telnetd
rpm -e telnet-server

apt-get install ssh
rpm -i ssh
