Um..

# cd /dev
# ln -s scd0 cdrw

...and then edit /etc/fstab to point to /dev/cdrw..

You can write to a CD-RW just like a CD-R when you use cdrecord, though
you may need to erase the disc first.

I haven't worked with UFS support at all (which would allow you to
read/write CD-RWs just like a regular drive), since it's marked
Experimental/Dangerous in the 2.4 kernel configuration screens.
