It is because your baud is not changing. Reboot the router and then try changing it again. Reboot a second time before you check. The damn 675 is tempermental when it comes to changing settings like this. Make sure you write the changes to nvram before the reboot. Follow the directions I sent exactly and see if it does not work. I had a similar problem in the past when I used USWest, and that fixed it. The reboot was necessary to get the changes to actually stick.
