Presuming that your video card is a card and not onboard, you should hear some beeps (often 8). Start adding pieces back in, until the system doesn't work again, or maybe it'll start working again.. If you couldn't get anything to happen when all of the pieces were taken out, then you most likely have a problem with the memory or the motherboard.
