Well, for one... more than 24 hour notice would allow me to be able to schedule it in. I am really looking forward to getting to one of these meetings, but the dates on the web page never change, and the response from the IRC folks is 'either the 1st or 2nd week of each month'. I have a class of linux students that I would also like to offer extra credit to for attending some of your meetings, and it is impossible to do this when I get a 'yah, this weekend' note in my email. I for one would love to have a half of a month notice where I could make an announcement to my class, and plan on attending myself. Maybe next month... -C.
