Appears to be closer to both KDE3 and Gnome are both the defaults, from what I can tell, without downloading and installing. (I'm a Mandrake user. Don't have an opinion that it's better than Redhat -- was just easier for me to install and setup for my work than RH was.) Understandable. The general consensus seems to be that KDE is more advanced than Gnome. (Antialiasing being the obvious example.)
