I am a programmer, not a Linux OS expert, so please bear with me. I need to access a shared drive on a Windows 2003 Server from within a program running on a Linux box. I'm unable to figure out how to write to that drive. I suspect it has something to do with either Samba, which we have installed on the Linux machine, or mounting the Windows share on the Linux machine (or both). (Red Hat Linux version 2.4.20-8(?) Samba version 2.2.7a) Can someone tell me how to accomplish this? Thanks for any suggestions you can offer me.
