The Windows driver CD that came with your card should have the firmware on it. Technically prism54.org can't distribute the firmware, but someone has a link to it anyway. For my card (SMC2802W) all I had to do was: cp /media/cdrom/Driver/smc2802w.arm /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/isl3890 isl3890 is the name of the file, not a directory. :) You may have to create the firmware directory... there is more info on the prism54 forums (http://prism54.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=25) including what I did to get my card working on Sarge.
