I've been using KDE with 2 monitors capable of 1600x1200 at work for quite some time and it works very well there. Now I've been really missing it at home, so I hooked up an older monitor that's only capable of 1280x1024 thinking that I could run some apps there that run at the lower resolution. However now I've found that KDE has done some funky scaling such that my monitor that's running at 1600x1200 no longer has as much display area, as if it's running at a lower res. It almost as if the fonts are all scaled wrong. I'm using Ximerama to get the big desktop. Anyone have any clues as to how to get my resolution back without buying a second hi-res monitor? -- Jon Schewe | http://mtu.net/~jpschewe | jpschewe at mtu.net GPG signature at http://mtu.net/~jpschewe/gpg.sig.html For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39 _______________________________________________ TCLUG Mailing List - Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota http://www.mn-linux.org tclug-list at mn-linux.org https://mailman.real-time.com/mailman/listinfo/tclug-list
