I'm trying to get VMware 4.05 installed in my laptop and it continuously locks up after formatting the drive space whether it's Windows 2k or XP. The VMware FAQ says make sure you have kernel support for: Real Time Clock and CONFIG_PARPORT_PC I believe both of these are part of the stock SuSE 9 Kernel but i wanted to make sure before i call VMware. Can anyone suggest how to check this?
