Hello, I have two subnetworks (10.10.0.0 - 100 Mbit and 10.0.0.0 - Gigabit) separated by a linux server that acts as a router. I am running dhcpd3 on the router, but I have a problem with the configuration. In the section for the gigabit network I set 10.0.0.1 as the gateway, and in the 100 mbit network I set 10.10.0.129 as the gateway (which is the lan address of the dsl router). All works fine, except how do I automatically tell dynamic clients that connect on the 100 mbit network that 10.10.0.1 is a gateway for the 10.0.0.0 network? If I just add 10.10.0.1 to "option routers" but that is only for "default" gateways. I did not test with a Linux client yet, but windows (on the 100 mbit network) accepts the second default gateway, but does not create a route. I have to manually add route add 10.0.0.0 mask 255.255.255.0 10.10.0.1 Thank you, florin -- Don't question authority: they don't know either! -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
