Sorry if this sounds n00bish, but really, I'm stymied. I have ports 65000-65200 forwarded from my modem to the upstairs router, and from there to my machine. Using Firestarter, I set a policy to allow those ports. Bittornado still gives me a yellow light, and checking on the Shields Up page still shows those ports as closed (not stealth, closed), even when turning Firestarter off. FWIW: I inherited this router (and the .100 IP) from my old roommate, and all the port settings along with it. They worked for him until the day he moved out (so I know it's not Qwest trying to choke me off). But this has been an ongoing problem for me since installing Linux.
