If using CUPS usually just need the PPD file for the printer.
Openprinting.org has some,
http://www.openprinting.org/download/PPD/
or can be retrieved from inside the M$ driver for the printer.

Open the CUPS interface at http://localhost:631 and point to the 
retrieved PPD file when adding printer.
