actually i ran across this paper a little while back (well taking into consideration the time warp) and i was actually quite impressed with it. it's pretty objective and quite accurate factually. it's not too deep but does touch on some of the elements which people might want a little more info on. (comparisons of leap, wep keys, etc.) i recommend it - although it did come from a pc magazine. ;-) when last we saw our hero (Thursday, Jul 25, 2002), Carl Wilhelm Soderstrom was madly tapping out: > this looks like a *really* good introduction to wireless security. > anyone have comments/criticisms about it? > > http://arstechnica.com/paedia/w/wireless/security-1.html > -- steve ulrich sulrich at botwerks.org PGP: 8D0B 0EE9 E700 A6CF ABA7 AE5F 4FD4 07C9 133B FAFC
