It's called apt :-)

The humor might be lost since you may not understand that it's a debian thing.

RPM  is a good package tool, but not great. It's not very good a resolving
dependancies. Worse, it doesn't know how to fetch anything that related to
dependancies.

You might want to look at the apt-for-rpm project which was posted to the list
recently.
